all pads need a bit of warming up but it depends wot ur going to use them for, iv heard mintex are good but never experienced them.
the front brakes do 70% of the braking so i dont think there is much need for uprated pads on the rear unless your running big power, then you'd go for a complete upgrade anyway! iv got ebc disks and green stuff pads on the front and standard disks and pads on the rear with braided lines and 5.1 fluid and it stops perfectly fine :):)

Mintex seem to be getting the best reviews, i have run them and can say no problems.

As far the back standard pads are more than up for the job.

I find yellow stuff great. The bite from cold is surprisingly good, and when warm they are superb. Only problem is a bit dusty

I run EBC drilled and grooved with yellow Stuff pads and i find them excellent as has been said the bite from cold is good then once they are warm they are very good imo

I have the same brake setup, with braided lines & using Hawk pads on the front from Dave Burwash. Standard rear pads are more than fine, no point buying sard ones or anything. Have used Greenstuff on the front before which are also good.

get some braided lines if you havent already, std pads on the rear are fine and definately get yellow stuff, they piss all over 1144's (had them previously)

As said from previous replys we find the best combo to be braided lines alround with yellowstuff front brake pads, we have tested these against the Mintex 1144 and find the yellowstuff work just as well from cold but bite alot harder once warm and dont seem to fade as easy.

We have both yellowstuff pads and braided lines instock so give us a shout if you need anything.

Many Thanks

personally i thought the yellows were better from cold than the mintex? they were only ok when warm, but then made a right mess of my white wheels :D
