dont do it!!

Why break what will be a great starlet that you created and then buy one that someone else modded?!
You'll appreciate it more knowing that it was YOU that made it what it is.

Your gonna regret it. It's not a massive job to put the car together now. Get some storage space and get everything together. Start off getting all the chassis bits fitted, that will clear a fair amount of space and then get the engine/turbo/gearbox on. :)

Seen it all too many times before mate. Only break if you are certain.

Are you afraid to see it through?

i dont really know mate, i saw it tonight in it sorry looking state :(

Then i come on here, and im helping my mate look for a starlet and theres a few examples i see that catch my eye...

And when i work out how much i have spent on parts alone, not forgetting delivery charges and labour it stunned me tbh

I could have bought a lovely starlet with everything complete..

Im going to try get the car on the drive tomorrow and see if i can get back into as i have lost interest but still am not 100% sure??

And then what if when its all done im left disapointed?

i would have the alarm of you mate, and the toms spoiler if its not gone, and would like the toms kit, could swap you a standard white front and rear aswell if you wer after selling you shell.

but would be a shame for them to go, i would love a car how your list sounds. oh, and the AEM aswell if its sensor and guage etc.

and as asked, whats the deal with your coilovers? is that really £50? or a typo?

Man, don't break the car, I'm in the same boat as you. Car has been of the road since march getting rebuilt and a few times I have thought about throwing in the towel but then I realise how daft I would be to do it having come so far. Don't do it mate, your gt is so nice, don't loose the faith brother, a'men!!

I've built cars and bought cars. Building them is much more rewarding and the car will 'feel' yours. I would press on with the build and make something special. Such projects are not about the money.

Case and point - I'd sell my 5E before I'd sell my auto. Feels like I'm still driving someone elses starlet even after 6/7 months of ownership!
