First time on the strip, I was buzzing even though was only hitting the 15sec mark, hopefully can knock that down abit when I get the car looked over as I think its slightly under powered for the setup.

Have to say wee johns ep85 was flying, I had a go a go at that turbo civic and had no chance lol but was gd craic

Good that the weather kept up.

Was also so surprised at the number of people that knew the gt I have bought, and in particular was surprised about how much they knew lol

Mostly low 15.smanaged a few 14.9 and 14.7 when i didnt miss second!!!

Battled all day to get out of the 16's (as promised) and pulled a 15.214 @ 94mph out of the box. Actually started getting slower as the day went on lol..

Might bring a stick shift next time..

Just read on another forum that the white skyline that was running in the drift in the morning was stolen from bishopscourt when it had finished its run

Just a heads up to make sure the car is well locked up even at these events.

The cas been since seen in the divis area of belfast.

Only managed a few 14.3s out of the MR2 but I had the boost as low as I could get it to save the clutch. Good craic though.

I'll get the vids up later, need to do a little editing, forgot to set the camera to upsidedown mode so all my videos are upside down

Cheers for all the comments lads, well appreciated. I got speaking to most of the lads a little but I was wrapped up in getting the car going well so didnt get as much time as I would have liked chatting. I was running about like a dog with 2 dicks last night, 1st time I have beat Garys Civic in the dry, clocked my best time ever (12.81 @ 112mph) and that run got Toyota the win over Honda! Thats 1 each so I am sure the next one will be a good day, hopefully the big power Starlets will be running as the Hondas will be pulling out the big guns no doubt.

Thanks for the caption competition Jay, you seem to get plenty of opertunity for these with photos of me, I will have to remember you are trigger happy with that camera lol.

I was told last night some 15 year old known joyrider was diffing that motor about the place, wearing the helmet that was in it and telling everyone he lifted it at Bishops. I hope the owner gets it back in one piece and that bastard gets his balls handed back to him in a bag. I can see stricter security at the gate for cars from now on down there, such a pity as it was surely spectators and not competitors causing the grief.
