Car not letting hks fcd work with car !! (even tho the fcd itself definetly works)

Hi i have a problem with my glanza ep91. Ive had a hks fuel cut defender fitted by a specialist i no myself and hees fitted them many times before.

The problem is that hees wired it all up and the fcd itself is working as hees checked the voltage output as hee adjusts it and its changing the voltage. But the car itself is still hitting boost cut. Hees been threw evrything he could possibly think off and from the boost valve to the wiring of the fcd, to adjusting it to the max and wiring it up differently and other things i didnt understand myself and its still happening just asif it isnt even on the car

he sez hees checked evrything he can think off and the only thing he could think it would be now is a faulty ecu, like it has a fault somewhere.

Anyone no what it could be ????????

warnin light comes on, sometimes just flashes on and off but thats cuz of the overboosting cuz its decatted and set at a higher boost. think hees checked the fault code when he counts the flashes or whatever they do but he doesnt no himself.

problem is why isnt the fcd working with the car when its definetly working

dno what boost im running at cuz ive got small problem, my boost gauge reads 10-11psi no matter what boost its set at. the guy rekuns ive got a weak actuator nd sed its nuffin he can sort it not a problem. the guy used to work for toy tuning nw hees on his own as a toyota independent specialist so hees no dodgy mechanic. but hees baffled and never herd of it before

You need to speak to Tim mate. He's not far off you and will sort you out in no time! It's hard to say when you don't see the actual car!

ye where abouts is he based and what does he do??

Does anyone no why my boost gauge reads 10 - 11 psi no matter what boost is set to ?? bloke i c who specialises in toyota specialy starlets rekuns ive got a weak actuator or something

He's in kidderminster and hes an engine builder.
I think 10psi is the max anyway without hitting fuel cut.

kl does he specialise in glanzas? i swear my m8 got given a business card for someone in kidderminster when he had his glanza but think they do ecu nd remap nd chip typer of tuning rafa then build engines

Nah he is a toyota specialist but prefers the 3ste engines. Not sure if he does mapping, I know he maps his own but not sure if he does it for customers. Tim is a professional enigne builder though, been doing it for like 25 years or something.

get a rrfpr i have a jam fcc and had to fit one to stop it hitting fuel cut as it was over boosting ie not enogh fuel hope this helps
 
so urs was hitting boost cut with the fcd on aswell? u gt glanza or gt? hw much nd whats rising regulator u got? u rekun cars not geting enuf fuel then? my m8 neva had one on his glanza nd his wuz fine once fcd wuz fitted, prob stil worth getin 1 like ya sed tbh

ive lookad at them fuel regulators on ebay only ones i can see is fuel pressure regulators sellin universal kits for around 30 quid dno if this is the 1 to get, i cant see any that say rising rate

I have a glanza yeah mate I'm sure I read you need the fueling done to go with the FCD when going over fuel cut I have a sard rrfpr mate I am running a bar of boost though
