Car wont start

Theres a loud fast clicking when i try to start my Glanza, all the dash lights and gauges are fully illuminated but the engine wont start,any ideas :mad:

Central locking? Had the same with my glanza when it was in the garage. Opened it with the key, because the battery wasn't in it, only 1 door opened. Connected the battery, car wouldn't start. opened and closed the glanza from the outside, with remote or key and the car starts instantly.
And indeed, check the terminals and the ground from the gearbox-chassis-battery

Check leads, distributor and the king lead connection on the firewall.

Check the earths from the engine,gearbox and battery.

Check the starter wires.

Do a fault code check (check the tutorial section -ecu,last page)

Any chance the battery is dead?

Sounds like the solinoid is throwing but the starter isn't turning.
Your battery might not have enough charge? Tried using a jumper pack?
Then start looking to make sure the engine earths are ok and the wiring to the starter is ok.

CLicking noise is nearly always dead battery. jump start or get a push and hold the clutch down with car in 2nd gear then let go of the clutch and turn the key at the same and press throttle.

Thats a dead battery allright :) Mines like that when its been sitting a while and I've forgot to start it up for a while. Should not be to hard to push start, it'll be a shit load easier than trying to push start a GT4 for sure :)
