There are 2 small speakers either side of the dashboard. Some lucky folks will have the Toyota optional door speakers at the front too.

the front speakers in my ep91 were missing too but you def dont want to get 6x9s get 4" components they will fit straight in. its only 4 screws each side to take the dash pannel off to get to them

I had them in my car.. i stupidly replaced them with Sony's but infact the toyota "Pioneers" that were in there were actually so much better :(

Has anyone changed there front speakers in a glanza if so what size are they and where they a direct fit?

Cheers.

there is'nt much point as you can only get 13cm speakers in there, all of which are crap.

if you want some decent sound get some door pods built, or build them yourselft. its quite easy..

but yea 13cm are a direct fit and you can change them for "better" ones.

just measured them and you are right then are 4 inch speakers. which actually makes it worse.

qaulity will be extremly poor imo.

why will it be extremely poor?

why are you saying that? depends what you buy. i have the stock one's in at the mo and they sound ok.

and it also depends on what headunit you have.

get a decent headunit, alpine one or similar, and get a 13cm component set, mount the tweeter on the a piller, and if you want a small 2 channel amp, and it should sound good.
alpine type e should be goodenough for most people

I have 6.5" speakers in my door along with a titanium tweeter, upholstered to match the doors... wrong tweeters in the door at the moment, other one will fill the whole completely:quadgt:

yah i have some 4" earthquake components, they sound a bit harsh at high volume if you use the metal tweeters they come with, but you can get silk domed tweeters that match to soften the sound a bit :)

Bass response is good, but i tend to only have them setup to supply mid + high, as I have 2 12" s in the boot (not much boot after that). thinking about it I may take the 2 12"s out and swap back to the single.

lol dont understand why your still saying this as myself and others have stated if you want to spend the right money there is plenty of high quality speakers in this size which wont sound rubbish. sound quality isnt always determined by how loud you can blast your speakers, good 4" components with the right set up will sound perfect
