take off a drive and leave it drain out that way if its that tight

i have it drained out,its the level bung nut i cant get off

im not on about refilling it,i just dont want to overfill it i.e the level bung nut is the one i cant get off

oh i see, i was just referring to the first post.
just put in exactly 2.5 l using some measuring device and u will be grand

couldnt tell ya i changed mine twice and seen another few and we always have some left with 2 x1 litres bottles

fill it untill it starts to spill out of the hole at side of box.. then its full

thats grand but there is no point buying 3 litres of oil when it only takes 2 especially when there sold in 1 litre bottles

a box fitted with an aftermarket diff will take less than a stock box.."displacement".... mine took 2.4litres (stock).. the car must be level to get the level right also
