I'm sure is due to previous rebuild mechanic didn't put the ring properly and now cause the block to have some scratchs

1G-GTE piston works with minor machining....
But it would be cheeper to buy 4EFTE forged pistons

On what bore is your engine now? going 75mm will be the max and if bore gets damaged then you cant rebore and get other pistons.
And $300 for a second hand set that was not meant for the engine and doubt it will take 2-2.5bar boost like Wiseco and other, might
not be the best idea?

But if you want to do it to be different or for the academical exercise, then do it :)

bro, i understand where you came from. there are scratches on cyl 2 and 3. Anyhow I still need to do some machinery on them. but i still have my 4e block lying around. so I'll test and see if this work and post up for all of your comments.

Do it do it :D
Make sure valve clearance on those pistons are good to go. And check ring land size if it is worn or not.
And make sure the pistons you get are the ones with 18mm gudgeon pin and not 20mm as the 1G came out with both.

someone has a link where to buy a good and decent compression test kit ?

I'am sure any one more expensive than the cheapest one you can find would be fine.

mechiel bud, I still feel you should have a closer look. Rings should not break and you can not really fit them wrong...

bro, there was a period of 3-4 months i'm running on stock ECU without any management. could that be the cause of insufficient fuel?

Yes possible! The colour of the turbine blades shows that the engine ran lean. I mean they have melted...
so obviously somewhere is a problem that needs to get sorted before you drive with it again.
Get the new engine mapped :)
