cracked ring lands are 99 present caused by running to much boost. stock pistons are good for daily 1 bar - 1.2 max all depending on turbo.

in my case it wa not a question a boost or excessive boost ...it was a bad rebuilt
i have used stock pistons in high compression for 2 years in my last 5eFHE and like gorganl200 said , the key is th tune

Stock pistons can hold 1.6bar
