no it means is the bell seperate to the disc. ie you can seperate them from each other or is it one whole disc like a standard type disc

yes,

when i fitted my discs i had to assemble them. By "bell" you mean the the centre bit right?

If so, yeah mine can seperate itself from the center bit(bell) and the discs also looks like the one above, 2 discs either side with a vented bit in between.

Heres a pic if its of any help: (Before it hit the floor obviously)

So they will have to be from Willwood? I was wondering if i could say buy EBC Rotors for the time being as the prices are really good and will do the job until a later date...

Cheers for the help fella

they dont have to be wilwood no if you send them discs to anyone they should be able to match them up aslong as they match the bells otherwise you'll have to pay more to get them made up too

damit! I really wanted to make this simple.

So i have to send it off to a company for them to match up? I cant just buy a particular size rotor from a compamy that match up to the Bell supplied from Willwood?

Seems like i may have to contact willwood themselves.

You wouldnt know if Dave Burwashes Rotors will fit?

you'd have to take them apart and measure them but no doubt if there wrong then it'd be down to you and they will prob be non returnable

Thanks for that Rory.

Repped

So essentially any make disc will fit the caliper as long as the disc is the same size as the one originally supplied and fit the PCD of the car? Doesnt have to be 2 piece or one piece? I cant see that making the difference but thought i'd confirm anyway.

Thank you

If you have the 2 peice setup as per the pic, then any disc will fit, aslong as the PCD of the disc, (not the car PCD), Diameter, and thickness is the same.

As for the 1 peice im unsure what discs work, ive had no dealings with them.

The PCD of the disc will be the same as the car right? 4 x 100 for starlets..... So when ordering am I looking for just the rotor or the "rotor and bell combo" as I'm wondering if it's just the rotor I would of thought it would have to match the willwood bell?

Sorry for the specific questions, I like to make 100% on things before I buy to avoid sending things back etc.

Cheers

I think Rory means the PCD of the disc. i.e the PCD of the bolt holes that bolt the disc to the bell??

As long as you buy rotors that are the same dimensions and PCD (of the bell) it will bolt on :)

Ring 3g or someone

Back in the past i had e-mailed MC CHU about his willwood kit and when i asked him if i could fit only the brackets and the calipers to my 3g disc reply NO and i must use his discs or wont feet. (i guess something with his bracket was designed to be leveled with his discs)(mean offset disc and offset made bracket)
I dont see a reason why you cant use any other brand discs wich level at the midle of your caliper and clears enough.May i am wrong tho..

Your not looking for the bell, just the rotor.
The PCD im reffering to is the Rotor PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter)

Pick up a Demon Tweeks catalogue (Motorsport edition)
There is a whole range of them.

Sparky - Correct.
