Does tgtt affect you keeping your starlet?

Sold mine after 3 years of ownership, went to an ep3, but I use this forum alot more than I do the type r ones just because I'm still a starlet enthusiast although I dont own one! When funds allow I may purchase another next year as a track toy or something depending on situations at the time, it's a cracking forum with some cracking members! I'll always be a Toyota enthusiast and always feel more part of this forum than any other around I think!!

What other forums do you use? Been on a few due to other cars owned and would say theres better out there but far bigger (mainly sxoc)

although i dont post on a lot of other forums because i have the starlet, i do spend a lot of tme browsing threads on other forums.
and tbh i find tgtt has some of the best people willing to go the extra mile and help.
there may be bigger forums out there, but the majority of these suffer from a lot of wise asses posting rubbish.

I have been on quite a few forums, and none of them compare the the friendly people that are willing to help out on here. So much information on starbo's here. On other forums you get the people that think they know everything and are up their own ass. But everyone on here is willing to help each other out and to share knowledge of these machines.

i can say i prefer this forum to any others iv ever came accross.
the members are friendly, honest and straitht forward, with no bull or people up their own holes. And probably most of all, the people are realistic with their knowledge, tuning know how and budget and what they want to achieve from tgtt.
and what i have learned from tgtt is fairly substantial at this stage...

didny effect me, i sold mine in no time, and actually sold both my starlets outwith this forum, although to be honest i never really advertised mine on here.
i think the forum is decent, but there are better forums out there, and alot worse, one for example, i find driftworks is full of smart arsed cunts, who are in there little posey, and if your car isnt to what they like, they slate a forsale, and as most of them are mod cock suckers, nothing much is said.
i find this forum is moderated more than most, but probably because, still now, the starlet hasnt quite made Chav status, although it was gettin there, untill this recent insurance hike accross the board, now most chavs cant afford to insure the starlet, even illegally.

Mate what I use is - the best IT forum in the world - http://forum.ixbt.com/ - with at least 10 mln people visiting it every DAY! Unfortunately it's in Russian - so I would recommend Tom's Hardware as an alternative!
Regarding the cars - my mate is highly recommends UK Starlet Club - but that is more for the people aged 15-25 which isn't my group!
Regarding the topic -)))) I found this site very useful and I found a lot of friends here!

i can safely say ive learnt more off this site than any other ive been on, before id never have even concidered changing a gearbox and clutch, or a full engine, but now ive done both and would happily go further on the car.
its only down to the good people on here and the knowledge and helpfulness that they bring. i dont think id stil have the car if i werent on here, cos id think cant be doing with this after problem one, but i quite enjoy doing it myself

So true mate, this site has helped us soo much with both our EPs in the past and no doubt in the near and distant future.
Because of this site I have grown to love starlets and feel now it's all I know.
