ebay help, item recieved in bad condition

That Is very poor mate! Never seen an iPhone in such poor condition! As said you'll get a full refund for that and the dispute will get you it unles the guy closes paypal account (I know in the past I went for a refund the guy closed eBay and emptied his paypal account only to be told they were unable to get it back! This may have changed now though)

The phone was described as used and in full working order hence the reason why in very good condition, I would have described the iPhone as good as new if there were no marks on it.
If you are still adamant on a refund, I will only do so upon return of the product and yourself covering the p&p charges obviously.

Sorry I will not return the iphone before a full refund is issued as this is not the way it would be done If we were to go through ebays resolution centre. If I send it back I am then without a phone and without my money, this leaves me pretty vulnerable. Im happy to cover the costs of the returning post and packaging and will send special delivery as you did to me. The phones condition is at most at 'working', an example would be a car of very good condition would work and wouldnt have the paint all scratched. Likewise applys. Nothing personal obviously, we shall agree to disagree. If you would be more comfortable going through the resolution centre to make you safer with regards to ensuring im not a scammer etc Ide be more than happy to do so, and have no problem leaving you good feedback should everything run smoothly. Youve been more than reasonable, Im just not happy with the item itself, not your service as a seller.

That is very poor condition, no where near very good condition lol, i bought a set of glanza mirrors of ebay a while back and they came with the base plate snapped, i could tell it was snapped through the very poor packaging so took plenty of pictures like you have, i emailed the seller and he would do anything about it so a dispute was opened through ebay, i sent them everything, the pictures and any info he had said to me and id sent to him, it was in ebays hands then, later on they send me a parcel forcel fully tacked and payed for postage label to send back to him, they kept an eye on where the item was and kept in contact throughout, when he had signed for the parcel i was instantly refunded

agreed tht is no way the same phone google pics of iphones andnsee if u can find the pic he used i reckon hes either photoshopped it or nicked a random pic
In regards to the pictures, if you take a photo with no flash you can get the phone lookign decent, but any light will instantly show up all scratches.
I'd go through the resolution centre anyway, just to do everything by the book. Also please don't leave him positive feedback. Neutral at best, basically can't describe the items and tries to rip people off. Even if he refunds the whole transaction was not positive.

but surely his service as a seller should be to tell you the item is scratched to shit!? i would call that pretty bad service myself, if he described the item as it was then none of this would have happened? obviously you need to do some nicey talk in order for him to comply and offer a refund, but i wouldnt be saying his service is good at all. as previous stated i would go through the formal channels to ensure a refund is given, file a paypal claim under the resolution section, and i definitely would not be leaving good feedback! his poor description of the item has cost you time and potentially money, particularly if you have to pay for special delivery to return the phone.

I know this is tedious but I also know some of you guys are really clued up on this sort of stuff so figured was worth posting. I bought an Iphone on ebay for my girlfriend for christmas, whilst im aware this is a little risk I thought I was pretty careful, bought one that wasnt the cheapest going and from a guy with 100% feedback.

you cant see every scratch in these photos, but really, would you consider this in very good condition? its clearly never seen a screen protector or case in its life. Ive asked for money back in a pretty civil way, but straight to the point;

After advice I am asking for a full refund for the iphone.
The iphone was sold under the description of 'very good condition' this is not true and the item is infact in very bad cosmetic condition. I am sure this can be resolved but am also to advise you that if we come to a dissagreement or you fail to reply to this message I will open a case in the resolution centre to help.

i'd definetly agree with u mate uve done nothing i wouldnt have done. surely he'll accept a refund but as for a leg to stand on im really not sure but in my opinion u should b entitled to ur money back at the least!
