Feel so stupid at moment ha ha

I bought some ebc discs and pads knowing that they are the right ones when i took them to the garage they told me they wouldn't fit!!?

I asked them why they said they were wrong and something to do with the callipers??

I have spoken to Monster Motorsport (where i got them from) i know he knows what he's talking about and they must be right!!

Now i've lost me garage i usually use and i'm stuck i can return them but before i do i want to know for defo they wont fit i just have a feeling they will and they were being endless as they were fine with all me other cars but as soon as i got this one their difficult!

it really bugs me i cant do this stuff myself - Can anyone suggest why they wouldn't fit? Could there be something different about my car? Please Help confused

A lot of places can be really funny about imports, perhaps it's time you took the car to a new garage? There must be one in your area that doesn't mind imports.

Yeah i know it's stupid! Thanks well i'm going to try and find someone local as i went to Monster Motorsport for my front mount and other bits they were great but it's a 2 hour drive and it means getting train back if it's in for longer than a day and time off work :(

I'm just thinking now as they have said the brakes dont fit i dont want to take them somewhere else then they still be wrong i might have to fing a local take it down so they can have a skeg

If you find a local member with a small amount of mechanical experience and ask them nicely, I'm sure they will happily fit them for you. Probably won't even ask for more than a phone number as payment either seeing as you're a girl :p

If the part numbers match up, and you're only in Pocklington, as in near Howden, have a short drive down the motorway to Sheffield, and I'll fit you them F.O.C. :)

It's only a half hour job, tops :)

sure if you got them from mike, he will know there correct, but a pic or a part number and we could confirm for you.

pitty im not in newcastle now, or i would come down a run to help you out.

Did you check your calipers??? They could have been uprated in Japan, brake pads are an easy job to do I dont see why they would turn your car away for an easy job, they are the correct pads for normal Glanza calipers
