I went in july pretty good place.

They do try to rip you off a bit but do haggle with everything,

Ummm.... what else be wary of the taxi drives they do tend to charge a lot but again you can get them down. they tend to put up a 50% mark up for tourists.

Finally if you do go to Cairo be very wary you will get thieves who will want to steal your valuables so keep things close to you and safe

other than that it is a very good place you should enjoy it. anymore info just ask

as for fags, we just bought single boxes from a local shop.

my gf's parents have been to egypt, they say its an awesome country but you have to be wary all the time of thieves as there are plenty of them around. her mum is ugly as fuck lol I can tell you this and this local lad insisted for like 10mins with her dad to exchange for 5 camels and some 'kinas' whatever it was I dont remember lol.. she was wearing a wedding ring too supposedly he didnt see it.
otherwise they enjoyed it, lovely places to visit and cheap

I would be a little careful going there as a foreigner, don't go there with an abundance of contempt, be cool, calm and collective. Don't forget, they are as patriotic as you are about your country. So don't go giving it the mouth as they will hijack your arse.

thats exactly what i would say about it,

keep a level head, its not the worst, try jamaica or the likes, in kingston they dont beg, they tell you that you will give them £££, there are plenty places in the world like that.

everything in egypt is a haggle, dont take valuables out there with you. as ther is always the chance things get robbed.

I was offshore on an egyptian vessel for a month and a bit. The egyptian crew and inspection crew where all very friendly and decent to get along with. Although the vessels crew couldn't speak much english. The inspection crew could though and they where a good laugh.

So my opinion of egyptian folk are that they're top folk.Although they are a much more touchy feely type of folk than we are. I thought they where all gay like lol

It really annoys me. I dont care if someone looks then when u catch them looking they give u a nod, look away or whatever. But the other day, this asian man in asda was propper staring at her; with a dirty look, like a grimace. I looked at him as if to say "no" but he looked at me then looked back at her in the perviest way! Some people r so rude!
The stupidest thing is I was put in the dog house by the missus for telling him off!

Mate, the worst place i have come across that is full of that is Birmingham. I have never come across so many shameless asian mother fuckers.

Within the resort complex Egypt is top notch, you can want for nothing. But as with most countries the difference between rich and poor is really noticeable.
Whilst I would recommend going to the pyramids for example, they have been almost ruined by the litter and crap and people trying to sell you the worst kind of tack imaginable. But at least you get to say you went.
On a plus note, I would jump at the chance to go back!
