Electic window help!!!!

After buying a EP85 which had manual windows... its since had a full GTT kit fitted including the doors.. which have electric windows... so heres the problem..

As the car didnt have electric windows i have nothing to connect the wiring to..

can anyone take a pic of the wiring loom to giv me the colour codes i need pretty please...

The drivers side is most important as the switch panel has a controller built into it an also has the earths in it for both sides!!!! ive had the drivers window working on its own but what ever i do i cant get the passinger side working off either switch...

because the car had no electric windows there is no cabling forthem you will need to run a power source from somewhere to get them going

Yeah i can get the Drivers side working. the only problem is that when you try an operate the passinger window the fuse for the circuit blows!!!

It think i could do with having a look at a turbo and get the feeds for the switches from one that works....

Otherwise i think is a case of trail and error...

O.k only a quick update on this...

Ive managed to sort most of the wiring out...

Both window now work from both the switches

I might have a go at getting the central locking working although at the moment its not on the top of my to do list....

So if anyone is thinking of fitting electric windows onto a Starlet that hasnt got them already i can tell what wires go where .....

So it just needs a good tidy up and its all done ...

Been looking at an EP91 for this recently. Looks like a plug and play but I could be wrong.. Anything to watch for Sheri?

This is for EP85/82 year models EP92 colours may differ!

Basically if the car ur fitting the doors/motors to has electric widows its a simple plug and play job. otherwise u gotta run the wires urself...

So on the drivers side the plug that comes in to the footwell is a blue block..

You should hav a black/white wire.. Thats the earth for both sides!!!!!

Then the Blue/green is the feed in.. either use ignition or perminate... ignition is best

Then the other two wires u need are...

Blue/red and Blue/yellow they run to the passinger side..

Then if alls well it sould all work....

The only thing that i havent worked out yet is the door lock switch... But ill work on it..
