Something a bit different!
My 911 has been a lovely car to live with for the past few years but unfortunately it started to use some oil and soot up the passenger side exhaust tips which is never a good sign and pointed to bore scoring. The engines in the 997 carerra S (3.8) are well known for this issue and so as I clocked up decent mileage on it I was not that surprised.
I drove on to the ferry and off the other side and left it with Hartech in Bolton a few weeks ago and expect to have it back in the not too distant future with a fresh rebuild and bored out to 4.1
