Ep82 4wd conversion

Has anyone attempted a 4wd conversion on a ep82? And how they went about it?

ep85 and ep95 are the easiest way most people who wants a 4WD turboed starlet would go.
but as you have asked who has done a ep82 modified to AWD then it is an other story.
I remember an ep91 converted to AWD in Greece. then an ep82 converted to evo engine and trans.
not the easiest way, but can be done

i know the rs boys have done this either by making up a transmission tunnel on the shell or using for example a cossie shell cuttinout the floor pan of say a escort rs turbo and doing the same with the cossie and putting the cossie floor pan in to the escort....this is basicallly the escort cossie was developed..of course it is a bit more involved but you get the genral idea...

Indeed there is, so it makes it easier use of a Toyota designed and built EP, already with a 4WD system and turbo it.

The Toyota system is far from perfect, no LSD`s and a viscous coupling so another system would improve it. If you do it please post lots of pics.
