Ep82 engine fitted in glanza now revs start to hunt on idle HELP ASAP

As above guys

I have just finished fitting a ep82 engine in my glanza & now the revs start to hunt only on idle otherwise car drives fine

What can be the problem??

Not engine loom is it ? Or do i need to fit a ep82 ecu to my glanza to fix the problem??

Have you checked the throttle positioning sensor?

Yes mate i've swapped icv valve & throttle sensor still same

Have you done a diagnostic test to see if it brings anything up?

Going from what you have said its sounds like a sensor fault

I did a diagnostics test on my old engine & i jus remembered i didnt clear the diagnostics by removing efi fuse.. & code 52 came up was knock sensor
& btw with the old engine the car was not hunting on idle at all

But since fitting new engine the battery has been disconnected so will that clear the diagnostics???

Atmo its hunting constantly & car feels slow like evn wen the turbo kiks in ??
Thres defo no boost leaks at all

Reli need help now as i will be selling the car very soon

Not sure how much difference it would make but does your o2 sensor match your ecu type? I other words do you have a single wire o2 or the Glanza ecu 2wire o2sensor ?

If its sluggish I'd check around the intake or a stuck throttle?? Take the fuse out ( efi ) and leave it for 20mins and that will clear the ecu. What about Fueling? You could check for vac leaks how j did it with a bit of carb cleaner or wd40 and spray round the intake air filter etc for a raise in engine speed. I've been having hunting issues for a while but mine was the pcv but I'd doubt that would be it?

& whres this 02 sensor?

Oh & btw the only thing i swapped on from my old engine was the throttle position sensor as the new engine sensor didnt have same plug to plug inn.. Could this be the issue???

GT & glanza TPS are thy the same??

No need to stress buddy its something minor. That could be it mate, worth a shot. The O2 sensor is on the cat or decat

Cheers mate i will try tht today & what about if i totally disconnect the o2 sensor plug is tht ok??

& i have no choice but to use the GT throttle position sensor on the glanza engine as the TPS plus isnt same for both sensors

Also the car only starts hunting on idle only once its up to normal temprature so like on cold start its fine no hunting at all


& thres 2 identicle pipes size of 10mm on the back of the intake which connect to the firewall of the engine maybe i've put these wrong way around i think thy are 2 water pipes thy clip on to 2 nipples on a small round thing near bottom of engine


Or coolant temp sensor??

Those pipes are vacuum pipes for the power steering it shouldn't make any difference.

Power steering pipes on inlet mani? Tht can't be rite can it?

Thy are 2 water pipes as i rememba takin em off & water comin out

The water pipes come off the throttle body there are a few vacuum ones on the inlet mani itself.

Ok.. Urm do u reckon if i swap the 2 water pipes over myt sort the rev hunting out??

yes mate definately set TPS correctly

is it worth changing over the 2 pipes on back of throttle body goin to the power steering onto the firewall in the 2 nipples ??

i think i may have mistaken & put these 2 pipes the wrong way around

also if i dissconect my 02 sensor & startthe car up thres ni diffrence what so ever
