I am currently building my EP85 up and am about to install the heater matrix. My problem is that I have 4 of them and they are all different :S
I think one *might* be different due to the "auto" switch on the heater controls, and one *might* be different if it originally came out of an EP85... maybe.
There are various differences between the 4:
A) H1 is marked "D", others are marked "C"
B) H1 has open/vented section, others are sealed:
C) H1 has much bigger white section inside:
D) H1 & H4 have extra wire underneath
E) H2 is partly grey, others all white.
F) H4 has white cylindrical thing on... I hope I'm not getting too technical here :
G) H4 has extra electronics box on underneath (part number 063700-2883):
Here are the part numbers for each unit:
H1 – “D” - 87150-10350 116100-2904 6Q (almost unreadable)
H2 – “C” – 87150-10340 116100-2875 4M
H3 – “C” – 87150-10340 116100-2875 11P
H4 – “C” – 87150-10340 116100-2875 4P
Can anybody clear this up for me – what are these differences for and which is the “best” design?
Cheers
