F1 or Rally ?

F1 for me, just always been into it.
I like rally too but I've never really followed it much where as I always sit down to watch a grand prix.
Obviously serious skill involved in both but I think F1 brings tactics and strategy into it a lot more which makes it more interesting, like there's more going on than just watching the race.

And just the whole lifestyle and glamour surrounding F1 is cool. At Monaco when Martin Brundell was doing the Gridwalk, he was trying to get talking to someone when Eric Clapton came over shouting and at him and interrupted, thought it was mad!

Having personally attended the F1 at Silverstone, Singapore and Japan, watched 4 no. British champions secure the title, and having watched nearly every race since being a foetus, I'm going to say F1... That said, I do really enjoy watching the WRC, and I've got the opportunity to see a stage in person soon, so I'll let you know if my opinion changes!!!

Rally all day every day. F1 is good but WRC is defo more exciting, more crash's ect.. Plus the way rally drivers push there cars to the limit is crazy, Alot of skill needed.

I like F1, but the tyres are getting in the way of the cars this year and its not working as well as it did last year. WRC is great to watch as well, I dont think you can say there is more skills involved, its just different. Martin Brundle did a year in rallying after he retired from F1, he said the demands on the driver were less than in F1, but the fact there is something you could kill yourself on if you leave the road ev erywhere around you made the balls factor come into play a lot.

Rory do you think the Moto GP1 has been as good the last 2 years as it was 3 or 4 years ago?

BTCC is the best to watch for me WRC is pretty good to but never really got into it. Got to agree with wee John. Monaco was boreing because of the tyre strategy, none of the cars pushed it.

Actually I agree with the tyres statements too. Let the racers race, not who can look after them. Bring back re-fueling too. Also love BTCC/WTCC. Actually any form of motorsports is brilliant

Irish rallying is cool and all but cant be compared to F1. Take some oul lad out of and oul escort and put him in an F1 car and see what he'd do! :p (joke)

Agree about tyre's, there holding the cars back this year which is stupid, it should be about the drivers and cars at there limit for the whole race.
People used to call it boring when Schumacher and Ferrari dominated, but they deserved it, they obviously built the superior car and Schumi got the most out of it, I dont see what could be boring about that.

F1 for me, watched almost every grandprix since 1989 tbh, find it amazing how advanced the cars are/ how hard the drivers can push.
I also enjoy watching rallying, motocross and superbikes. But it all boils down to f1 for me!

Btcc for me. Then rally, and f1 if theres really nothing better to do.

Tactics are involved in rallying as much ad f1, intentially slowing down through stages to lose places so their not sweeping the road etc.
And you dont get anti-lag on f1 cars. Lol

classic rallying, all this new stuff is crap, no reall skill, not like back in the 70' and 80's, thats when motorsport was good. f1 is boring. bikes are good 2 watch, how the riders can fit there ball inbetween the tank and seat i have no idea, lol
