Fitted new gearbox now car wont fire up????? Help PLZ

somhairle: no not now ill get some 2moro, its onli say half an inch bit thats broke and ive got it. ive been told i may be able 2 get it welded.

what are the cams made out ov cast steel? or cast iron?

How the heck did he break a bit of a camshaft? I can only picture him hamering the end of the distributor to cause that sort of damage!

fucking hell he must have used a mallet to get the dizzy back in lol theres 2 locating bits oin the end of the dizzy which are different sizes so it only goes in one way.... guessing your mate owns a ford? :p jokin.

yeh like dantheman says there onli 1 way it can go in. but with abit ov heavy handedness (if thats a word) he got it in a different way lol

found sum1 that can weld it n its getting dropped off first thing in mornin!

think ill find sum1 else 2 fit it!

neither did i! it hasnt completly shatterd just a bit has broken off n now doesn't fit the dizzy properly n in turn wont start.

beleive me i had a propa head fart goin on. :confused:

What I can't figure out is WHY did you remove the distrubitor in the first place.There's no need to remove to change a gearbox.
