Skynet is conscious...

Ref.

"Police say a Metromover car rolled over and killed a station supervisor as he inspected the tracks.

The accident happened Saturday. The computerized vehicle, which is not driven by a conductor, was stopped, but moved forward for an unknown reason.

Police found the body about 100 feet from the platform; the identity of the supervisor wasn't released...."

Pull the plug now!

I never understood why noone just turned the computer off when it became self aware. The most difficult solutionwould be cutting the wires.

remember the good old iomega zip disks... plugged in to a parallel port with a disgraceful transfer rate... man you would be better off trying to remember stuff in your brain than using that type of storage.

I remember the days of data transfer through a parallel cable, that was even before Iomega Zip drives appeared. Connecting 2 PC's together using a parallel cable was truly shocking by today's standards. Similar to installing Windows from about 50 floppy discs only to get to disc 45 and encounter a fatal disc read error.

Was in the same boat myself with a glorious green screen, some of the tapes were tricky to load but that was all sorted with a multi-face II :)

At the age of 6 I was blessed with a Spectrum 128k+, complete with an external tape player and a black and white portable TV. Would take about 15 minutes to load a game and then I'd leave the thing on for days so I didn't have to wait again for the game to load. Beeeep.. Beep.. Beeeeep kschhhhh! :haha:
