Fuel Cut Defender?????

hello all

i'm nearly ready to modify my acctuator to run 1 bar of boost but i need to fit a FCD i know HKS make 3 diffrent types does anyone know which one i need? part numbers? or does anybody else make an FCD i can use.

see to be honest mate ad stay clear of the hks fcd.. ud be better with a jam fcc or a greddy one as the hks ones are pretty notorious for running the car lean.

you can buy the jam fcc of rhdjapan.com good price think its cheaper aswell than the hks.

just checked out RHD JAPAN n they have the JAM FCC delivered to my door for 72.00GBP so i just bought it cant wait to feel the power of a whole bar of boost

no probs and at least this way you`l not be running lean throughout the whole rev range

yup agreed with spoons make sure your getting anuff fuel in aswell

Get the fuelling checked as soon as you fit the unit. If the mix is wrong then you could damage your engine.

i dont think so i assume you have to fit one of these or does it have something similar standard? is this goin to be needed b4 i raise the boosty upto 1bar?

sorry ive just realised that would be an FSE valve lol. duuurrr

will the sytec fse valve be sufficent or is there an alternative

no standard system until this sat when i get my cat-back, have been told not to desturb the cat or mani as im only goin for 180-200bhp

when u install a bcc its recomended to instal an FPR(fuel presure regulator) also. so can rais you fuel presure.. normaly you take it to a tuner and he will adjust your fpr... but us maltese tend to use 3.something bar on a standard engine with a bcc, decat running 1bar of boost
