Nope it's defo a jap import V everything else says it is even the log book etc which i got with it it's an EP91 for sure!!!

starlet reflet are also ep91. ep91 doesn't mean it is turbo version.
check your vin plate again, is it writen, 4efte or 4efe on it ?
if it is 4efe, then it is a starlet reflet, carat or glanza S which has been converted to turbo.
there are loads of those in Mauritius

Nope. they dont wish they did though.

I't could of had a crash and the owner got a uk spec axle insted of an import.

thats the only reason i can think off.

Yeah it could have done but i was the first UK owner it wasnt even registered when i bought it - maybe the import people did summat i dunno it's a mystery

No EP91 AGMQY came with drums on the rear and all had the 256mm discs on the fronts.

Its easy for someone to take off the front calipers and swap them for UK spec brakes, which have smaller discs on the earlier models. Its a lot more work to do the rear disc to drum conversion.

I would make a few more checks, vin data for a start.
