Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

That's what I thought, until I bought a 1080HD 40" Sony telly for Christmas... Funnily enough, a PS3 appeared within a couple of days!

I want the full version of GT5, not the prologue. :(

Haven't tried it yet online Gee but I'm really impressed with the graphics. I have a 42" HDReady. Graphics are insane when using 1080i.

Downloadable content is nothing new, Microsoft have been doing it for years with XBOX Live, which was the first console to actually get consoles online properly. Sony tried it with the PS2 and failed, monumentally.

I remember the days of the SEGA Dreamcast. That tried to do online, no-idea if it was actually any good then, though. I never had an internet connection back then. God, I miss my DC. :'(

when the dreamcast came out it was bloody excellent, and the online gameplay was superb.

unfortunately then the ps2 and xbox came out, and people lost interest in it, shame really cos it was good and had some excellent games and features.

hey ho thats life i spose.

You have to buy tracks seperate as well, I think. Plus the 10k car list is just a wish list atm, no official list yet :(

i've got GT5 prologue, but also think being charged for cars is insane, and gee be careful when purchasing a steering wheel as force feedback don't work just yet, they should be developing a new steering wheel with GT5 full version.
Must admit damn good graffics though.

Can't wait for it either but having to buy cars online is a load of crap to be honest. Cant wait for GTA and Assassins Creed 2 ( that'll be the end of the year though ). I loved Assassins Creed but i'm into them hands on Sword fighting games. nothing like running across the top of 5 buildings jumping of the end of the last and stabbing a fella in the back of the neck.

Feck all could be based anywhere. The main thinking is Altier goes on the road to search and hide the rest of the artifacts. ends up in china or japan. or else is a Prequel following Subject 16. Hope they don't get rid of Altier though he's one shit cool character

he is yeah, just prefer some more ninja shit(a better fighting sequence,as in not just button mash),tenchu style and a grappling hook.

China/japan would be a deadly place to have it

Well in the main game there will be around 700 cars available. It's just future expansions, will require money to buy, just like expansion packs for pc games. They gotta put more moeny into development for new cars even after the game is finished made so of course we gotta put more money into the new content. You don't have to if you don't like of course :p But yeh, even just playing the GT5 dowbload, it's amazing, can't wait!

Guys,

Prolouge is NOT Gran Turismo 5 the full came.

There is NO tuning and NO downloads of additional tracks. Just a selection of cars and tracks to play and is due at the end of March.

It is online thou.

And force feedback does work.

Here is what I have bought:

Playseat and Logitech G25. Even has a clutch and H pattern box!

Prologue is like £20!
And it is online, has more cars and tracks that the Japanese and American's get, including the Ferrari F40 ;)

There is also some basic tuning involved now too!!
