The strength and consistency of the root fusion obtained in a weld has nothing to do with the way it looks. It could look like shit but still be perfect or vice versa
Good luck with the group buy.

What do you reckon these would be like on a 4e running a hybrid ct9 with cams and headwork?

Quite sure its airtight, and yes I know abit about welding, but for that money, for all it really is Id expect a much tidier job

Much tidier job?
Please show the people a much tidier job.....

The scales on the Welds are almost perfect, the only reason it possibly looks untidy is down to the filler rod used, being a bit big, but its far from untidy.

Sorry Dave, delete if you wish. :)

Wouldnt be suited mate
the short runner design will not suit the CT9 application (bigger Turbo application)
the CT9 is perfect on the mid runner not suited to short runner.
u will loose Torque on a ct9 setup and wont gain top end as the CT9 will have run outta Puff!
Ive Ran a mid runner Plenum Custom Intake on a CT9/T3 Hybrid and the results were awesome but not suited to short runner ;)
