Hi ,

I searched abit and failed to find info . Please can some one tell me if it is possible to use a manual GT ECu in a Glanza V. If so what is the differnce or impact on this .

I am currently using a Glanza Auto ecu.

i think it can be done if ure good in electrics.....u will have to cut the gt wiring and keep only the connectors that goes to the ecu....
then u will have to get the pinnout of both ecu and then merge the glanza wiring to the gt connector...:p

Wow that sounds ...time consuming. It does not just fit in place are they not the same size. Oh yah it might not work to well as i have ABS and that is only on the Glanza's .
Thanx for the info will pass till i find a ep91 manual ecu.

The Glanza V manual brain, Glanza V auto brain and late GT auto brain all have three plugs. The GT manual brain and the early GT auto brain have two.

There's a bit of wire swapping involved so it's usually not worth the hassle.

If it were me I'd just source a manual Glanza V ECU. Plug and play solution.

Not without rewiring. There could also be an issue with the signals from the sensors, your EP82 TPS for example might not offer the right signal to the ECU.

Bear in mind, I have an Auto GT running a Glanza SARD ECU. She still changes at the redline.

i was thinking of making a jumper from the v ecu to my original ecu plugs ( leave my looms intact ) i could always fit and run a extra wire to the tps
and its only the water temperature sensor thats diferent as far as i am aware so there must be a way to correct the temp sensor i think ?????

I've done this for a guy before but it was a JAM ecu into a EP91. I used an old EP82 engine loom and cut the plugs off with roughly 200mm of wiring and just tee'd that into the EP91 loom so that the original plugs were left intact in case he decided to go back to the old ecu. It only took a couple of hours to do.

As above, will pay to check the TPS isn't a variable unit but it would be easy enough to swap this to a switch type
