It is once again time to put my GT up for sale, this is about the 3rd or 4th time i have put it up for sale, lets see if i actually let her go this time lol. I have owned this car for 5 1/2 years, and will be sad to eventually see this go but i have needed a bigger car for a while, and have my eye on something that suits me so hopin to get a pain free sale.
The car has 190,000 kms on it, which equates to 118k miles, but since i bought it, i have fitted new suspension, brakes, hubs, clutch, engine rebuild by chris carson, etc etc. Many thousands spent over the years, although for over a year now i have been driving it as close to standard as it has ever been, spec below.
Rota circuit 8's
Toyo proxes all round
Tein lowering springs
Kyb gas shocks
Induction kit

Walbro fuel pump
Fuel pressure regulator will come with the car but not fitted
stainless cooling plate
Exedy clutch
Momo Tuner steering wheel
Lamco boost gauge
Kenwood double din headunit
Toad 6061 i Cat 1 alarm
Full set of original Starlet mats front and rear, very rare
Mot till may 2012
Taxed till end of october 2011
Like every 19 year old car, with the good points, there are some bad points, and i will mention these to be as honest as possible. Mainly on the bodywork, some scratches and stone chips. Bit of rust starting on the drivers door, where water has sat over the years, but spare door supplied, just needs sprayed and fitted. Having said that, the rest of the car is very solid, underneath and the boot are solid with no rot or bad rust, just usual surface rust. Jay im sure would back me up on how solid the whole car is. Pics will follow of scratches. The clock was replaced with the screen from my HKS evc-5 boost controller so it had been enlarged to house this, now the clock is back in and although it sits in place without moving, thought i would mention it. Mechanically thought the car runs 100%, i have even used it for work at times when im travelling round the country such is my confidence in it, and to be honest if i have to do a run to strabane from belfast for example, i find it a lot more enjoyable to drive this than a work van lol. No smoke on start up, idle or on boost, nice amount of vapour when engine is cold and has no water or oil leaks whatsoever. Chris carson built the engine 2 years ago and has covered 20,000 kms since with only needing to get serviced 3 times since. The car has mot until may next year and the tax runs out at the end of october, but can tax for buyer if price is right.
Possibly rambled a bit, but i just dont want to seem like i am hiding anything and wasting peoples time, if you are interested, and would like an impartial opinion of the car, talk to Jay about it, he has been involved with this car since i got it 5 1/2 years ago and recently he had a good poke around it before mot there, only needing handbrake cables to pass. Hope ya dont mind Jaystar?? lol
Any queries or questions, im happy to help. now onto the pics
now for the boring bit lol, no cash or insurance cover, no drive, sorry to be awkward but i just have no time for test pilots or time wasters, if your seriously interested, this wont be a problem. If your unable to have insurance to cover you to drive, i am more than happy to take you out for a drive. Very tight car and generally in good nick besides the scratches for a 19 year old car.
