High Idle.........

Update,

Seems i have solved the issue..
After emptying yet another can of wd40 over everything and coming up with nothing, i decided to start tightning the inlet manifold down way past what i normally would.
I run a thermal intake gasket, and it was fine when i first installed it to my usual tightness, im thinking it has mabey squished abit and the usual torque was not enough....

SO after a quick fire up on axle stands, my cold idle is now 1400/1500 rpm, and warm around 1000. Im yet to take it out, but that will have to wait until the other wee jobbies are done.

Ill report back in a weeks time on this.

Again i thank everyone with there imput on the matter.

Good way to check for a vacuum leak is to hold the lit end of cigarette up to all the joints. If there is air being sucked in it will glow as the air is sucked by it.

What sort of temps do you get in the AIT sensor with the thermal gasket fitted?

Unsure on temps as ive no way to check, i dont have a hand commander. All i know is the plenum still gets toasty warm :(

Aye or some cotton wool, weird as soon as i tightened the top nut closest to the dizzy it pulled it down a wee bit, yet the wd40 didnt pick up on it.

Odd...
