Idle problem

Hi ive got a glanza v and i have a irritalble problem when driving if i go to stop (clutch down) it reves up to 2-3k and stays there until i blipp the throtle then it returns to normal
Its really bugging me now..
Ive checked all the vac hoses and they all seem fine. Ive put my mates idlespeed control valve on mine and its still the same any ideas?

Have you tried cleaning the ICV mate? I had the same issue and cleaning the ICV helped somewhat. Seems my wax stat needs to be looked at

even with a vac leak dude it shouldnt be up that high i dont think and if there was a leak it wouldnt fix itself with you messing with the acc

more than likely its something to do with you cable or even a clogged up throttle bodie, id take off the intercooler where it connects and inspect the butterfly, then make sure the cable mechanism isnt sticking or even try and replicate it from the engine bay im sure you will find whats causing it

Id Check your Throttle pulley assembly grease it up.. and check the throttle cable inst snagging in the sheath make sure the penny is closing properly ect

thanks guy for suggestions i have since taken off the butterfly cleaned it up with carb cleaner.. icv is now clean too and for 40ish miles was perfect now it seems to have come back? so i think maybe throttle position sensor. will i be right think?

i had the same problem on my 2 glanzas on one it turned out to be the coolant temp sensor on the thermo housing, i have one here if needed & aslo have a spare ICV
