im a girl and need help....fuel gauge is ducked upp need help :)

My gtturbo....For some odd reason i went to the petrol station and put a tenna in the a few miles down the line my gauge went to half a tank and red light came on :/ need help one what it could be please. the gauge hasnt moved eather and i have drove around for a while but my red light has gone off but my fuel hasnt dropped..What could it be people.

Do you reakon. its strange cuz i had no fuel in before put a tenna in and it gave me a quarter of a tank and then a few miles down the road it went tup to half a tank and red light but the red light has gone of now but it reading half a tank of fuel and hasnt moved at all

I think there may be some damage to the wiring under the carpet behind the passenger seat. Pull the rear bench off and trace it back from there.

It doesnt matter if you are a girl or a boy, you will still get help lol.

Agree with this, my wires are a terrible mess I noticed when I stripped the rear.

What did you do to the fuel sensor in the tank? Was it stuck or filled with fuel?

Bent and battered, the tank is dented and all over the place! And missing bolts! FFS but had a differ pump at some stage as wiring was redone and clip missing off the pipe
