heres one for you knowledgable guys b4 i go to sleep

i have recently replaced my head nad taken the inlet mani off in the process

when looking from the right hand side of the car from the front there are 3 pipes going to the bottom of the inlet, the l/h side one being from the stat housing, behind there i have another 2 slightly thinner pipes, one goes to the bottom of the inlet but i cant find anywhere for the other one, the pipes seem to come up from the same place - deep down the bulkhead and they are together, the car does seem to run fine but i know that pipe isnt just a breather cos its got a spring clip on the end.

any ideas

cheers steve

i think the pipes you are talking about come up from a mechanical vsv on the steering box.
one connects at the very rear of the throttle body and the other goes to a pipe on the rear of the manifold itself.
the steering box vsv increases the idle speed when the steering is turned so the engine don't die from the extra load from the power steering pump.
