I don't rate them either mine is nothing but trouble new sensors overheating after 2 runs loses its calibration setting aswell

next time i see ya kieran ill check it over for ya they are very pickey about the wiring and setting up just takes some patience.

also boostjunkie make sure its wired up correctly and you do the first time setup and then free to air calibration or else it wont work i had the same problem as you with mine and once sorted i cant fault it sometimes it needs calibration more frequently and others not so much.

never had a chance to look it over today got other probs with the gt to deal with at the mo :flame: so been sorting that out today and tomorrow.

i think the problem could be the brown analog output i aint sure if i connected that up correctly to the gauge will check in the morning and see if thats the problem ;).

cheers guys ;)

why does the gauge has nothing to do with innovate?

because another company supply the gauge :)

they also make boost, fuel pressure, oil temp, oil pressure etc etc

without doubt they are the best looking gauges & @ £80 are not toooo badly priced for the look of them eh?

I would say go over wiring, double check ground points,i ground all the -wires at the same place, and make sure you're using Brown output wire for signal. also mine flash the same #'s along with red led but only when its warming up, it sits at 21.0 with solid led until you start the car. if all the wires are correct and plug together good, then re-calibrate it. if still prob then something faulty prob sensor. bought a aem at first and it was f#@Ked straight out the box. so got a innovate and its just awsome. very accurate ,work like a charm with emb too. hope you get it sorted.

only bad thing ive heard about the AEM is datalogging from them is a bit of a bastard. its a non linear scale or something????

Its actually non existent, as the software is just a scipt to use hyperterminal which gives u af readings at intervals of 0.1 of a second.. totally fucking useless :haha:

But works pretty great on the emu datalogging software (once u manage to get it calibrated propperly on the emu, as greedy where assholes enough and included the lc-1 but forgot the aem :shoot: )

yeah, the lc-1 comes with its own deticated logging program and you can log it on the power fc datalogit as well which is handy. that was the deciding factor when i got mine.

if i wasnt using it for datalogging i would have gone for the AEM as its cheaper and easier to use.

Good point, however there is only one wideband datalogging software which has really impressed me, & thats the Zeitronix, it logs revs/boost/egt/af & lambda all at a go, which for the price it is, it really is fucking brilliant!

thats fair enough. my datalogit logs all that apart from the egt so is good enough for me. would just need to buy an egt sensor and something that outputs a signal i can log and i would have the lot

Go for a greddy warning series EGT mate, they are by far the best & longest lasting, not to mention the most accurate.

Right guys got a little issue with the wideband i just need a confirmation that this is ok ?

if when driving the gt i get a good afr reading fluctuates between 14.0 - 14.7 but if i'm in 4th gear say and coasting no throttle the gauge shoots to 21.8 and stays firmly on that and when i press the throttle a little it goes back to normal is this ok ?
