can any 1 help plz rite av put a sps mani n de-catd dwn pipe n rs*r straight through system on my ep82 mk2 n it doesnt seem to boosting as high as b4 but still hitting same speed in each gear n the revz r goin up faster, so does it mean it just doesnt need as much pressure 2 hit them speeds now its flowing smoothly or is my internal wastegate catching on the dwnpipe??????

Fitting a mani and de-cat won't affect how high your boost goes.
If you were suffering from boost creep the boost would be going higher than ussual not lower.

Did you take the actuator off when you removed the old mani and downpipe?
Did add an aftermarket actuator while u were there?
Have you got any kinks in any of the pipes that go to the turbo?
Thats what i would check anyway.

I have to agree, I had to read it at least 3 times before I could understand the questions.

I found when I wasn't hitting full boost that my timing was out (12 degrees instead of 10), so I backed it off and the car went from 8psi max back up to 10psi. I figure the engine must have been knocking so the computer retarded it... Just another thought that may help you.

Did you wind the actuator arm down when you put it on then?

Going to be very hard to tell what boost you are running without a boost gauge.
I would suggest leaving it as it is and getting a proper boost gauge. Then see what boost you are running.
If its not boosting as high as you want then turn the actuator up a bit.

The stock boost gauge (Lights) are not a reliable way of telling boost presure.
Just because all the lights dont come on doesnt mean you are not hitting full boost as it could simply be a blown bulb.

Discussion is irrelevent until you can accurately measure the boost. From what I can decode out of your original post you're saying the car is faster but the final boost light doesn't come up? You really need a gauge before any accurate diagnosis can be made.
