so I put the missus on the insurance last week and she is now free to drive to starlet.

I let her drive it from the garage down the road yesterday afternoon and within seconds she was speeding; i said to her "you know your speeding yeah?", "am I!" she replies. i explained that this is not her 1.0 fiesta anymore and getting to the speed limit comes about a lot quicker in this car.

so a bit further down the road she starts asking me how to get the whooshing noise..

it was at this point i started questioning what i had done lol :confused:

well my wife drives my gtt and she's winning races at the drags. so i'm questioning the same thing :D what have i done!

but then again it all depends on the person if it is wise to drive a quick car.

lets put it this way:

citroen ax 1.0 - turned it over (write off)
fiesta 1.0 - pulled out on someone at a junction (write off)
current fiesta 1.0 - still alive

starlet gt - .........?

my girlfriend doesn't hoof it enough. I keep telling her if it isn't over 5k then dont even think of changing gear ;)

when i had mine, the gf wouldnt ever drive it properly, we had arguments about it,

always asked why i wouldnt let her drive = argument

i gave in she drove and i didnt agree with how she drove it = argument again.

the problem was she always laboured the engine, she would do stupid things like drive @30mph in 5th, etc, but somehow apparently i always ended up the one that was the arse hole cos she never listened to what i was telling her.

were still together but the starlet is gone so no more arguments lol

You have a problem there bud :(
You scared of her finding the wooshing noose?? :p
Give her some car lessons bud. Start explaining her what is happening under the bonnet that makes the car go forward.
And when she has an idea then explain to her how gravity works and that you have to respect it :eek:
