ISP Providers cracking down

I know some of them are Orange, TalkTalk (Carphone Warehouse), BT, Sky I think, and Virgin. Cant remember the sixth one.

I reckon we'll see more people move to the lesser known broadband companies, like Be and whatnot.

To be honest its the same with anything in life, its illegal so dont do it if your going to cry about being caught.
Now dont get me wrong I'm not saying that I have never downloaded a movie or a song but just for convience. If I like a band/film I will go out and buy their new album as I want to support that band, If I dont like the album then tuff shit.
They are not putting this policy in place just because me and you download a couple of MP3's every week its because people are making millions of pounds on the back of the big companies selling pirate copies of music and films. Now I hear you all say 'They make enough money' etc etc but turn it round the other way and your the owner of the music company and you look at your sale figures for the year and you are down 10 million pound, do you honest think you would be like 'Its grand'....no didnt think so. Yes music and films industries make a whole heep of money but thats down to all the hard work they put in for it, the music company has to gamble millions of their own money to make the song, pay the artist, pay for production etc etc so of course they are going to be pissed when people are making their profit and they are barely cutting even.
As for the comment about peado's do you honestly think ISP's dont already track everything we do, if you are downloading over your limit your ISP will get suspicious and all it takes is one click to find out exactly what you have downloaded, now if you are downloading child porn then you can bet your last dollar that they are going to report it. Even in my work as a computer technician if I find anything to do with child porn etc on a computer I report it straight away and have done in the past.

About the question asked ISP are now trying to come to a deal where if you want to download music etc you can pay them I think its £30 a year as a licence to download and I take it the music/film industry will get a cut of this. But it will be monitored and limited.

If you want to download illegal music and films by all means do so but dont cry when your caught. Not to mention do you even know how many viruses/spyware are linked to 'FREE' music and films, so if you use your computer for online banking or paying through websites like ebay etc then you might want to think twice before downloading illegal films/music!!!
