Map Sensor

Hi

I recently fitted a Mitsh td05h 16g on my ep91 5efte setup. I had the stock ct9b turbo which was mapped using a unichip. The car had been sitting for about 3-4 months before all was fitted. When all was completer on the 1st test run I noticed a flat spot at 3.8k rpm all the way to 4.8ish k rpm then opens up. I never had this problem before the upgrade and expected to run lean but its the opposite situation.

I am aware I need to get it remapped but before doing that needed to make sure all else was fine as its a long drive. My diagnostic test just has the light constantly flashing so from what I read all is fine. I also checked all the pipes for leaks with no leaks detected.

I assumed the unichip was the culprit and decided to disconnect it to test, started her up and the idling was terrible and after another diagnostic test without the unichip I got code 31. Has anyone experienced this and will another visit to Dastek resolve this or is another map sensor required.

I have a spare ep82 map sensor but when i connect it makes zero difference. any other ideas suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanx

Yeh a small difference lol. So i shouldnt worry to much just get it remapped and all will be well?
I did these tests yesterday and today its really running badly seems air to fuel ratios are all messed up acceleration is bad
with popping. At idle its at 1000rpm seems fine and sparks were also changed just in case with leads checked and distributor contacts.
Il rerun diagnostic when i get home and see if the code 31 shows up again.
