mintex or 3g ??

Anyone offer up whats best out of the 2?

Looking for some new front disks. Mintex seem bit cheaper. Have also head of the 3g ones cracking.

Was looking at either the:

Mintex C-Tech Grooved & Dimpled


or the 3g Grooved & Dimpled ones.

Any opinions appreciated.

All down to personal choice I'd say as both are good disc manufacturers. I've only ever had 3g on the starlet (not the ones your looking at) and never had any problems.

I've only ever had 3G's on mine. Groove and dimpled ones are not really much of gain that just the grooves ones to be honest.

I had groove and dimpled on it last and changed those to just grooved 3G's. No problems with them as yet allthough some people have had them crack but, touch wood, mine are fine and brake very well.

iv recently put 3g drilled and grooved, mintex 1144 pads and braided lines, vast improvement over stock, would definately recomend

i would go mintex.

(also where you geting the mintex from? as i would like some in the not to distant future)

I've been using 20 groove 3G discs with TRD pads for a good few months now.

I've given them a fair bit of abuse too and so far I'm quite impressed.
