Adjusting the panhard rod is not difficult at all..what you need to do is get one that can be adjusted while on the car itself....and yeah lack of a panhard rod causes the right rear passenger wheel to stick out by a few mms when the car is lowered....

Thats why you will notice that quite a few people have the outer side rubbing against the wheel arch.....[and scratching their heads to no despair as to why all this is happening]

You really need to get the panhard rod as it also affects the wheel alignment, since the right rear wheel will be 'off',thus affecting the alignment of the right front wheel....i think thats why i never got a proper wheel alignment so far.....

i didnt mate, i put them on our pit at work and then moved the lock nuts to the same spline level

Same theory though dude, setting the coilovers level on the splines could give you a wonky car because the weight on each corner will be slightly different.

what do u mean by spline?is it the thread on the coilovers.....:p:p
how should it be done then?
we counted the same number of thread on each side...a bit confused.......
any one plz confirm:)

Yes basically just the threads. Says on a previous post how I would set it up personally. As said on here the panhard rod is what you need to solve your problem.

I had the same problem kept on rubbing on one side. I think its got something to to do with the tollerences the cars are made to as they are mass prodused but could be wrong. Got a whiteline panhard rod and it sorted it out but it was a total pain in the arse getting it set right. I would recemend and RSR one.

THKS 4 THE INFO..
DO YOU HAVE ONE?

I bought one that I sold to Nicole 2 years ago.
it was a whiteline one, RS*R will be my next one.
the whiteline are fine, just a pain to setup as you need to unplug one side to change settings while the RS*R can be adjusted without unplugging anything :)

keep it as it is, it is low enough for mauritian road ;)
I'm higher than that, while I have way stiffer shocks than you do.
I feel two fingers between wheel and wheel arche give best results. I wouldn't go lower than one finger

It'd be a tad higher for me.

Looks a bit VIP at the moment.

The wheels should look like an equal distance from the arch to the tyre most of the way around.
