Just opening this thread whilst I prep the pics for upload. Serious credit to all involved who made this as good as it was.

HUGE thanks go to Chris and Trevor for their excellent organisation of proceedings. Warm round of applause for Steven Gault who hosted the session. He knows his stuff - perfect choice for the event.

Pics now here, ENJOY!

We were expecting some drama so paramedics were on standby with the cardiac equipment:

firstly cheers guys for putting the day on, and secondly, even though ive left the starlet fold, thankyou so much for inviting me back to the event!
it shows how strong the kinship and sheer man-love that TGTT creates, transcends between pocket rockets and hairdressers cars!

had an awesome day, so much so I needed a sleep when I got home!

thanks on behalf of lloyd and phil Heaney, who were fitted in, most generously by chris, who like a true gent, made sure everyone else was fitted in before getting his own GTI on the rollers!

Congrats to the civic type R, who blew me away with the sheer power that it was generating at those massive rpms, and without a turbo for assistance, kudos where its due!

commiserations to phil, who posted a whopping 212 bhp, but had to run again as the dyno guy wasnt convinced that the run was without slip at the wheels, only to pack a healthy 176? bhp on his immediate back to back second run.

I still need new boxers after posting a 192bhp 149ft run at a heady 7250rpm from my mobile salon N/A mr2, all I was ever aiming for was a stock 156 given it has 100,000 miles on the original internals, bar a cheap ebay filter, ebay manifold, and magnex exhaust, its shown me a thing or two that tuning doesnt have to be huge budget (unlike my old starlet) and that, like jay, just because its old, doesnt mean its not capable of a good rip up the road!

thanks too for all the pics of the Mr2, ill be sure to print them and add them to my collection.

so to add some more figures

alan d - mr2 n/a 3sge 192.8bhp 149 ft at 7250rpm
phil heaney - homebuilt and tuned starlet sr turbo 176/178bhp
lloyd - stock 96 glanza 144.5bhp

thanks again folks, I wont forget this day till im as old as ryans granny who keeps forgetting he crashed their car (jay knows what im on about!)

ps. I bought 25 dvds on the way home, so ill burn one for all of you, and will distribute them to chris or jay, their free of charge, and just a wee thankyou for welcoming us to the day! im sorry if the last handful got left out, but my cam was eating batterys like the cars were superunleaded, so recording stopped short just before phil heaneys run.

pm me a name for your copy!

thanks again folks,
regards

really excellent day, some excellent figures and good crack. still slightly confused about overfuelling off the scale on standard injectors on a td04 but just shows theres more to come. guys doing the rolling road really knew their stuff. we should do this more often!

yup deffo was a good day, i enjoyed it even though, like kirk, my car didn't lol. Good figures produced, and i think everyone left happy. I'll be sure to be back to Mr Gaults premises in the (hopefully) very near future. It really has given me the kick up the arse i needed seein everyone enjoyin a day in their cars, showed me what i'm missing. I think i lasted 2 minutes when i arrives home before i decided, f#*k it, wheres that spanner, i'm gettin mine built asap!!!!!! lol
