After just having my gearbox and clutch replaced due to the gearbox making a damn awful noise and jumping out of 2nd it looks like i did have a Diff afterall.. Wasnt entirely sure i did but the driveshafts are different size and there is a noticeable extra chunk of metal on the dead box..
Was wondering what i should do with the box to be honest. Is it worth having recon'd ? or is it worth checking out the LSD and see what it actually is and if theres any damage and selling just that ?
I also have the driveshafts spare so will get them up for sale if its not worth doing a recon on the box.. Ive no idea as the extent of damage today as i wasnt there to see the box out.
Any thoughts would be appreciated
