You only think you've had car problems until you own a RX7 lol...

Immense cars - I will own one eventually but I'm gonna wait till my wallet is immense enough to cope with one.

what are the common faults with them? Don't care aabout go go juice and fuel economy etc. Its a toy.

Are they really that unreliable?

not sure on this but i think they basically need a full rebuild every 60k or sumthin like that...so if ya get one with a recent rebuild it should be good. but yeh heavy on juice but tuned i have honestly never seen something so fast and loud. awesome motor but be ready for some patience testing of some kind

Personally I absolutely love them; however they need to be looked after. I.e modding, practically everything you do mechanically requires a map tweek and as mentioned above, they do need engine rebuilds (think theyre around £3k for a very basic last I got quoted) plus they do drink oil, but if you're servicing them regularly, then its not a problem.

If you can find one thats had a recent rebuild and have compression results to prove then I'd go for it mate. I have a friend of mine who has one sitting on his drive and the water seals have gone, so needs a rebuilt basically, extremely tempted. lol. Youtube 'champagne test' and that will show you how to see if the water seals are gone on the engine

Cant insure a supra i dont think :( and really liked the look of the rx7 in the link, but its a shame its so far away i dont want to go look at it and it be a dog..

Love the supra but like u say insurance mad on them what about a gt four st205? I used to have 1 there a nice car and reliable + 4x4 fun with winter coming
