over boosting and fuel cut again :(

hi all ive a fairly standard gt starlet its got a decat, standard actuator and solenoid and shes hitting fuel cut every now and again under full and sumtimes 3/4 throttle but according to my boost gauge its only boosting .7 and belting fuel cut then its really annoying if i put the cat back in will it fix it? will i b able t run the decat with external wastegate set at .8 bar without fuel cut issues? im getting front mount ,exhaust system, i have a welded ct9b turbo already, any other mods i need? what problems will i encounter if any?
 
first thing i would do is change the actuator if its still the stock 1 as there poo imo purchase a adjustable 1 hks etc...
have you relocated the air filter to the front of the car? this can sometimes cause boost creap issues
What do you mean by a welded ct9?you mean you welded the waste gate and are using external wastegate?
 
the air filter not relocated yet, yea goin external gate soon, shes hitting fuel cut way to early shud b bout .9 i dnt hav an fcd but i heard they cause fuelling problems :( i wont need the adjustable actuator soon just wondering what to do about the fuel cut will it still do it when i put in the external wastegate with .8 bar spring lol
 
well if thats the case my gfs old gt used only cut at .9 and mine is at like .7 so if i put in her ecu which i have at home shud raise the boost cut then? i dont want t put in a hks fcd cz they cause more problems than they solve
 
ive a standard actuator and all d vac pipes are fine and setup properly, my gt comes on boost at 2500 0.5 up to 4000 where it boost til fuel cut its fine in 1st nd thats bout it fuel cuts in 2nd 3rd 4th and 5 on low or high boost
 
@ Adam b sorry i wasnt very clear atm i am running a ct9a not welded standard actuator, no cat even on low boost she fuel cuts its like the button isnt working but its all setup correctly, i have a welded turbo ct9b waiting for the external gate to come what i was wondering will she still fuel cut with the 0.8 bar spring because my fuel cut seems too happen around . 7 ish and if i change the ecu for another stock one that used to fuel cut at .9 would that work or is it the map sensor i need to change?

@corofin yep the eml comes on not everytime but some of the time as i try my best no to hit it at all i dont want to wreck my engine :(

Yeah it will still hit fuel cut if you change the wastegate spring because you will still get boost creep.
I don't think changing the ecu will make any difference as it will still throw the eml light up.
It's probably the decat thats making you hit fuel cut.
