please help cars over fueling/running rich

ok people need your help again basically just rebuilt the engine to standard speck only modifications are

decat
full exhaust system
ported mani nd wastegate
hks fcd set at no cut on 12
sard fpr
no filter
fmic
hks actuator

car is set at 0.7 bar through actuator

problem is car was running a little lumpy on tickover but the timing is spot on
so tried to adjust the icv but dont seem to do much as i cant adjust it past 900rpm, but when you rev it up runs really smooth! anyways took it up the road and the car just didnt move way too much fuel just poped and banged like fook. so got the car on the drive and found the spark plugs were pitch black in sut, so cleaned them off started it up and checked the fuel pressure on the gauge on idle. and it was at 3.2 bar so turned it straight down to 2.2 bar as its gotta go through m.o.t next week. i then cleaned off the plugs again put them back in and started it up with the new fuel pressure set. left it running for 5 mins took a plug out and its still sending them black? now im really unsure what to do ive checked the lamba plugs and leads but unsure what to check next really?

any help much apprecheated

rep given

thanks Dean

Does a diagnostic check throw up code 51 (or any other codes for that matter)?

Does the engine check lamp on the dash light up when you turn the ignition on without starting the engine?

If it does, short terminals TE1 and E1 in the diagnostic port and count the number of times the engine check lamp flashes.

not so safe to run with no filter fitted though if used as a daily drive.

car wont be driven on the road like that im just getting it ready for m.o.t

Either your MAP sensor isn't connected or has failed, or your FCD isn't wired in properly.

still no joy tried running no fcd, with fcd used another map sensor but still no joy? rotar arm and dizzy are mint leads etc are mint timing is spot on but is just sending the plugs black also idles fine as soon as you rev it just missfires and pops and bangs? gettin so fed up with this car!!

Is this driving you have tried this aswell, the car could be running rich on idle so by leaving it ticking over for 5 mins would black out the plugs any ways

The car shouldn't be running rich at idle.

Check for vacuum leaks around the inlet manifold and MAP sensor pipes. Even a small hole can cause problems. If you have an aftermarket boost gauge make sure the connections are tight too.
