Price of fixin gearbox

hey guys . got a lsd box outa 96 glanza with problems goin into 2nd and 3rd, had a fella strip it and e has told me it will cost £730 on parts alone. 2 syncros, 2 gears and two sleaves. its that not wildly overpriced?? i have found another fella who would fix it for 150 max on parts

That sounds very dear for parts, synchros are less than £25 each. The parts can only be bought from Toyota so there is no cheap or dear ones £150 sounds more like it.
