problem!! gutless then goes normal any ideas?

hi peeps

cars been playin up since friday, what happens is when i put my footdown, it gutless. then it clears an then goes like normal. awfully strange.

any ideas

mechanic thinks maybe map sensor

ok mate, have you run a diagnostics check yet? that would be my next step.

start with the simply stuf plug lead's, diag check, when was the last time you done the fuel filter?

Ive got the same problem mate, it boggs right down, but boost doesnt go off the gauge.....ive given up with it for the time being, i just tend to stay off the throttle abit

In higher revs it doesnt bog, well mine doesnt

me an gt world, tried a diagnostic test but the engine management light just kept flashin wouldn stop, so no idea. erm... not sure when fuel filter was done.

an yea it only happens in low revs then it clears an drives normal

too gaz -- checked the basics mate plugs leads etc, tried diag but dont think it worked properly mate

Its just da damp shit weather lads brings up alot of problems like this with the electrics...we should keep them in a garage under a nice cossy blanket till the good weather comes back in

have you hit any big puddles lately, i hit a massive one and swallowed water, once i managed to eventually dry the coil and leads out it idled better but still had this crap flat spot at around 1500 to 2k and one day got annoyed and raped her for half hour and it stopped, i must have blocked a senor or valve somewhere, try givin it a rapin

flat spot sounds about right. gave it a rag hasn done it since so might have cleared the problem
