If u ask me ur just burning up the oil thats being sucked in through the pcv.. thats y it happens on idle, if ur not smoking on boost or overrun i would rule out the turbo... sounds more like when u cleaned the idle valve etc u dislogged some oil from ur plenum & its slowly slowly burning up :)

i wouldnt really worry unless it increases drastically, then i would consider checking the valve seals.. if the turbo is a good one i really wouldnt bother.. alot of ppl just blame the turbo instantly without checking other problems..

iv started to get the same issues with my tongs and i havnt touched anything just changed the turbo and added a second hand front exit a few weeks ago :(

Ah bummer mate, yeah it sucks, im so pissed off i feel like selling up :( all this blood sweat and tears, and now it goes and shits itself :mad: im so mad with it!

i know the feeling mate. iv started a thread to see if anyone else is having smoke issues with tongs turbos. iv nearly sold up so many times! iv spent soo much trying to make it the way i want just never seem to get there :(

Yeah i know :( its really gets me down.

As for goin for a good run, nope iit hardly gets used now tbh, its sat on the drive all week and only comes out on the weekends for a little drive around. say around 50 miles, could this be a problem?

not sure i gave mine a damn good blitz earlier as i though it may just be burning crap off and mine is still smoking, not all the time but more often over the last few days :( may have to get on to enzo about it how long yours been on for mate they have a 3month warrenty.
