running rich due to no thermo?

anyone on here who has a problem of running rich due to the fact that they removed their thermo..?

it will run more rich due to the engine not getting and keeping up to the correct tempreture. also the stat acts as a restriction so the coolant can pick all the heat up and move it along with no stat the coolant will be flowing faster and not moving the heat along.

how about the overall life of the engine..? will that be affected as it's running hotter constantly..? i've heard engines, especially turbo ones can do with all the cooling they can get to prolong life, or is this only applicable on the track..?

for the track mate.. its actually bad for an engine to run under normal opperating temperatures... alot of track day cars use lower temp thermostats but even at that weir talking high enough temps... the CTS will be getting cold readings all the time if there is no thermostat installed and the ecu will dump in alot of fuel.. i cant imagine it been good for the engine on boost
