Sard analyze ecu

I have been testing a SARD ANALYZE ECU for the past 2 weeks now and it works really well and does all the usual stuff you expect from these self learn/pre-mapped ecus,
I decided to break the seals to have a look inside and on comparison with a stock ecu it looked identical and did not have any other chips/daughterboards etc attached to it

Does this sound right?
Does anyone have a pic of one opened up...I have had a look on the ECU king thread but there is no pics of an open one

Any feedback will be much appreciated,
Cheers

You won't notice anything different as the old map is wiped from the EEPROM chip and a new map loaded onto it. Unless you have a way to read the EEPROM and have software to access it you won't find out.

Dont mean to sound rude, but does it matter, its working isnt it?

Surely this means the stock ECU can be flashed then...

Not 100% sure it can be flashed, thats just what I would of thought if everything looks the same inside, but anything is do-able ;)

I ve opened mine up and it does have a small daughter board on the main board!

Is it for an EP82 or 91? What does it say on the outside? Maybe its not made by fujitsu so they just reprogrammed it....?

I will put some pics up this weekend but as i said earlier the inside is visually identical to the stock ecu and it is for an EP91,

ah right, i hope you dont have any problems when it comes to selling on the ecu mate, some people are very fussy about seals

i agree with chrisccm u cant retune stock ecu u hav to add memory boards and chips to it it like having a piggy back built into the stock ecu but u cant remap it if that makes sence

thats y im so confused about this.....i know its definatly not standard as i have ran 1.2 bar and no fuel cut or eml, revs go up to about 8200-8500 and there is no speed cut either..and the internals are identical to stock...My stock ecu hits fuel cut as soon as it sees 0.8bar
