Thanks guys, that looks pretty sweet montana,
I deffo wanna get one/make one, You think somewhere like Powerflow (RSR) or Longlife would be up to the job of making it from turbo back as i dont have a decat as of yet, Cheers.

see you live right near me....

I got mine done at longlife in wallington, go there and they sort you out, i got mine without a backbox and only cost me £100 fitted....

I no longer have an exhaust though, ripped the thing off lol.... I personally think its become a bit of a trend fro starlets to have side exits, getting boring to be honest. So im going back to the rear, sounds nicer too, too loud on the side lol, i think so anyway.

longlife thats basicly in the total garage? would they be able to do it turbo back or would i have to sort my own decat? Isit legal to have it without a backbox? :p Cheers mate

read again - only if it fails the first stage of the emmisions test does the cat procedure apply ie. make model engine size etc but it still must be within uk spec.

if it does not pass the 1st test ie the test every car should pass then the details apply but again like you said there are only 4e-fe engines available so better get the diagnostic checks on the go to find out why it wont pass. some garages will just let it go because they know whats going to happen when it leaves the mot. put the de-cat etc back on again

Ohhh and is there anything that says it must exit from a certain side of the car (away from people walking by etc)

Well with a 3.5% C02 limit and 1200ppm hydrocarbons i think we'll all be grand.

wouldnt the exhaust get hot enough to hurt tire or hurt braking performance? i mean the thing is right next to the wheel! or even get dirty?

Yeah, less back pressure so a more free-flowing, less restrictive exhaust in theory equates to more power. Also the shorter length of the exhaust can help aid torque (or so I'm lead to believe!)
